Rural Public Housing

The Scheme is designed to resettle indigenous residents affected by rural redevelopment in their original neighbourhoods. Under the Scheme, housing is provided at rental levels below market price on sites granted by the Government at nil premium. Since 1984, three estates have been built in Sai Kung and Sha Tau Kok, offering over 1,300 units.
