Hong Kong Housing Society (the “Housing Society”) was established in
1948 and is headquartered in Hong Kong. We are an independent,
not-for-profit organisation established under the
Chapter 1059 — Hong Kong Housing Society Incorporation Ordinance.
Being the “housing laboratory” in Hong Kong, the Housing Society
develops quality housing and provides property management services
to address the ever-changing needs of people across different
socio-economic backgrounds.
Our core businesses include property development, property
management, elderly housing and care, and commercial leasing. The
Housing Society operates on a self-financing basis. We take a
prudent approach in monitoring the expenses in staffing, operations,
property development and providing housing-related services to the
community with the income generated by property sales, leasing, and
investments. By managing our financial resources effectively, we are
more resilient to market changes and ready for any unexpected risks
and opportunities, maintaining a healthy and long-term sustainable
growth.

CHAIRMAN AND
CEO’S MESSAGE
2022/23 was a watershed year as we see Hong Kong resuming to
normalcy after the three-year-long pandemic isolation. Despite
the headwinds brought by the macro environment, our economy is
seeing visible recovery and growth in early 2023. The Housing
Society is honoured to have walked with our city and the
public on the path of recovery and sustainable development.
