Senior Manager (Maintenance-Building Works) / Manager (Maintenance-Building)
(Ref: SM(M-BW)/M(M-B))

The Job
  • Plan and implement planned maintenance programmes for the properties within assigned portfolio.
  • Carry out regular surveys to properties in his area and report on the conditions/state of repairs.
  • Prepare design, budgets, estimates, drawings specifications and tender document for maintenance and improvement works.
  • Evaluate tenders, prepare tender reports and administrate contracts.
  • Manage consultants and contractors, supervise and monitor performance of subordinates and oversee the supervision and control of directly employed labour.
  • Provide design input to new development so as to minimise future maintenance costs and breakdown; and take over of new buildings assigned to him.
  • Advise and co-ordinate with users and tenants on their needs and requests for maintenance and improvement works.
  • Attend emergency repair when required.
The Person
  • Corporate Member of Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors in Building Surveying Division or equivalent.
  • With at least 10 years’ experience in the relevant field and 5 of which must be post qualification experience.
  • Must have initiative, ability to motivate subordinate, good communication skills in Chinese and English and be capable of working independently.
  • Sound Knowledge in Buildings Ordinance and professional maintenance practices.
  • Hands-on experience in computing.
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager (Maintenance-Building).
