Housing Society Closes Application for Subsidised Sale Flats Project “Hemma Amber” 

The Hong Kong Housing Society’s (HKHS) newly launched Subsidised Sale Flats project at Anderson Road in Kwun Tong, Hemma Amber, concluded its two-week application period at 7:00pm on 13 December.  HKHS has received a total of 11,566 applications at the moment, representing an oversubscription of over 26 times, while some applications submitted by post and via estate management offices have yet been included in this count.

Among the aforesaid subscription number, 11,430 are from White Form applicants, including 10,627 received via online submission.  There are 136 submissions from Green Form applicants and the number is expected to increase further as Green Form applications are submitted in person and have to be verified by the estate management offices under HKHS or the Hong Kong Housing Authority.  In addition, 7,317 applications from one-person applicants are received, accounting for 60% of the total number, with 7,257 White Form one-person applicants and 60 Green Form one-person applicants.  Another 7 applications are submitted by residents who are affected by HKHS’s estate redevelopment projects.

HKHS will verify the applicants’ information at full speed.  Ballot drawing and result announcement are expected to take place in the first quarter of 2024.  According to the ballot results, eligible applicants will be notified by post for flat selection in the second quarter of 2024 the soonest.
