Housing Society Closed Application for Two Subsidised Sale Flats Projects “Hemma Fab” and “Hemma Emerald” Last Night

The Hong Kong Housing Society’s (HKHS) newly launched Subsidised Sale Flats projects, “Hemma Fab” at Jockey Club Road in Fanling and “Hemma Emerald” at Anderson Road Site R2-4 in Kwun Tong, concluded its two-week application period at 7:00pm on 14 April.  HKHS has received a total of 17,495 applications up till now, representing an oversubscription of nearly 10 times, while some applications submitted by post and via estate management offices have yet to be included in this count.

Among the subscriptions received to date, 17,199 are from White Form applicants, including 16,185 received via online submission.  There are 296 submissions from Green Form applicants and the number is expected to increase further as Green Form applications are submitted in person and have to be verified by the estate management offices under HKHS or the Hong Kong Housing Authority.  In addition, 11,572 applications from one-person applicants are received, accounting for 66% of the total number, with 11,445 White Form one-person applicants and 127 Green Form one-person applicants respectively.  Another 14 applications are submitted by residents affected by HKHS’s estate redevelopment projects.

This sales programme marks the first time of HKHS to introduce flat selection priority schemes for families with elderly members (Priority Scheme for Families with Elderly Members) and families with newborns (Families with Newborns Flat Selection Priority Scheme).  A total of 1,747 applications have been received for these schemes.

HKHS will verify the information submitted by applicants at full speed.  Ballot drawing and result announcement are expected to take place in June 2025.  According to the ballot results, eligible applicants will be notified by post for flat selection in the fourth quarter of 2025.
