Environmental initiatives are integrated into our
property management for saving energy and
reducing waste.
Energy-Saving
According to the Environment Bureau’s 2017
report,
Deepening Energy Savings in Existing
Buildings
, existing buildings “account for about
90% of the electricity used in Hong Kong and
over 60% of the carbon emissions.”
As one of Hong Kong’s major developers and
property managers, we recognise that we must
play our part to reduce energy consumption in
our buildings as well as the carbon they emit.
Measures taken to reduce energy consumption
in our developments include:

LED Lighting
to replace the corridor and
staircase lighting at Block A & B of Lok Man
Sun Chuen and the ceiling lights at Block 7 of
Verbena Heights
•
Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF) Lifts
installed as part of our lift modernisation
works at Block D of Cho Yiu Chuen and five
blocks of Ka Wai Chuen
