引言
香港房屋協會（房協）成立於一九四八年，是獨立的非牟利機
構，為香港市民建設優質居所。我們亦得到政府的支持，發展
不同的房屋計劃，配合香港市場的特別需要。我們重視香港的
可持續發展，因而推行不同項目及措施，以保護環境及建立關
愛社區。
我們致力在房屋發展項目及物業管理服務加入環保元素，提升
營運的可持續性。此外，我們亦推行社會項目，為長者及有需
要人士服務，其中包括「長者安居資源中心」及「樂得耆所」
居家安老計劃。
在本報告中，我們會回顧二零一五年一月至二零一七年三月期
間，房協在減碳、廢物管理、節能措施等環保及社會方面的工
作表現，以及我們在專業發展和社區服務的成果。
Introduction
Established in 1948, the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS) is an
independent, not-for-pro t organisation that develops quality
housing for the people of Hong Kong. With the support of the
Government, we have implemented various housing schemes to
cater for the needs of niche markets in Hong Kong. We also attach
great importance to the sustainable development of the city, and
that drives us to undertake projects and initiatives for the sake of
protecting the environment and building a caring community.
We strive to make our operations more sustainable through the
environmental features we incorporate into our housing
developments and property management services. Besides,
social programmes have been implemented for those in need,
such as the elderly, through our Elderly Resources Centre and
Ageing-in-Place Scheme.
In this report, we review our environmental and social performance,
including our carbon reduction, waste management and
energy-saving initiatives, as well as the results of our professional
development and community services, for the period from
January 2015 to March 2017.
