Environmental Initiatives at Our Estates 轄下屋邨的環保措施

Initiatives on Reducing Municipal Solid Waste
減少都市固體廢物的措施
We have launched various initiatives on reducing municipal solid waste (“MSW”) for our properties
under management during the reporting year.

Trainings, webinars and seminars were organised for our employees and contractors. To raise
residents’ awareness on waste reduction and environmental protection, we have set promotional
booths and assigned ambassadors to educate residents about waste reduction and recycling at
our rental estates and most of our managed properties. Additionally, publicity materials such as
banners, posters, leaflets are also displayed in the public area of all estates in the Housing Society.
To further reduce waste generation, food waste smart bins were installed in all rental estates by
June 2024 alongside existing recycling facilities.

於報告年度內，我們在房協管理的物業推出多項減少都市固體廢物的措施。

我們為員工和承辦商舉辦培訓、網上及實體講座。為提高居民對減廢和環境保護的意識，我們在所有出租
屋邨及大部分代管物業設置宣傳攤位，並指派大使向居民推廣減廢和回收的知識。所有房協屋邨的公共區
域亦有展示橫額、海報和單張等宣傳品。除了現有的回收設施，我們亦於二零二四年六月底前在所有出租
屋邨安裝智能廚餘回收桶，進一步減少廢物產生。
