MSW Charging Demonstration Scheme at Estate
屋邨都市固體廢物收費先行先試計劃

Apart from strengthening public education on waste reduction and recycling, we also supported the
Government by participating in the MSW Charging Demonstration Scheme at our rental estate. The
Scheme was introduced to the residents at On Ning Lau of Moon Lok Dai Ha. Pre-paid designated bags
(“DBs”) were distributed to the residents through distribution counters at lobby and door-to-door visit,
while cleaners were involved in DBs usage data collection. Throughout the process, the Environmental
Protection Department team conducted a review and collected feedbacks from stakeholders such as
cleaners, contractors, Estates Management Office and tenants, to further refine the Scheme to be
implemented in the near future.

除了加強減廢及回收的公眾教育外，我們亦支持政府推行的出租屋邨都市固體廢物收費先行先試計劃。該計
劃首先在滿樂大廈安寧樓試行，以大堂分發點和上門方式向居民派發預付指定袋。同時，清潔工亦參與收集
預付指定袋的使用數據。過程中，環境保護署的團隊除檢視計劃外，亦收集清潔工、承辦商、屋邨管理處和
租戶等持份者的意見，以進一步完善將來實施的都市固體廢物收費計劃。

Apart from the above initiatives on reducing municipal solid waste, we also carried out various
environmental activities to enhance waste management during the reporting period.

除了以上減少都市固體廢物的措施外，我們還在報告期間開展了多項環保活動，加強廢物管理。

• The Red Packet Recycling Campaign 2024 was conducted in our operations headquarters and
corporate office to encourage staff to recycle their old or used red packets for environmental
friendliness. A total of approximately 40kg of used red packets were collected in the recycling
campaign.

• 我們在營運總部和企業辦事處舉行二零二四年利是封回收大行動，鼓勵員工回收舊的或已使用的利是
封，以支持環保。是次回收大行動共收集了約四十公斤的舊利是封。
