series of celebration activities rolled out under the theme of “Create ਜ™މ˴ᕚᑘ፬ɓஹЕᅅज़ݺਗdᜫ΢˙ܵ
Homes • Revive Communities” allowing different stakeholders to review ΅٫Ϋᚥג՘ٙ೯࢝ዝ̦dԨ̋ଉʮ଺࿁
the historical development of the Housing Society while deepening the ג՘ʈЪٙə༆f
public’s understanding of our work.

The highlight of the 70 Anniversary celebration was the cocktail ג՘ɖɤմϋᅅज़ৢึ׵̬˜ɤɖ˚৿࠰

reception held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on ಥึᙄʿ࢝ᚎʕːᑘБdЪމࠠᓃႦᅅݺ
17 April. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative ਗdԨ͟࠰ಥतйБ݁ਜБ݁ڗ֜؍ቍ˜
Region Mrs Carrie Lam and the Housing Society Chairman Marco Wu ࢎʿג՘˴ࢩ◌တऎ˴ᓿf
presided at the occasion.

Amongst other 70 Anniversary activities targeting our residents and Ї׵Չ˼˸֢͏ʿʮ଺މ࿁൥ٙɖɤմϋ
the general public are the Roving Exhibitions across the territory to ݺਗd຅ʕܼ̍Ԛ৙ಥeɘeอޢٙ˜ג՘
display to the public the housing development of Hong Kong and the ܔ܊౉͏ɖɤϋ™Ϋᚥ࢝dΣʮ଺࢝ͪ࠰ಥ
housing schemes of the Housing Society over the past decades. ཀ̘ᅰɤϋٙג܊೯̦࢝d˸ʿג՘εϋ
Meanwhile, various estate activities include the “Art in Estates” Mural Ըٙג܊ධͦfΝࣛdג՘͵ᑘ፬εධ܊
Painting Programme in the Housing Society’s 20 rental estates, a 㡼ݺਗdܼ̍ίג՘ᒍɨɚɤࡈ܊㡼ٙ˜Ҟ
shopping promotion campaign, as well as the Photo Exhibitions at ᆀٟਜ™܊㡼ᖵஔኣ೥ࠇྌe˜ຬ࢕ΝԮ 70
Estates featuring old photos collected from residents which can ሧ™ᒅيપᄿݺਗd˸ʿΣ܊㡼֢͏ᅄණᔚ
reminisce and share the nostalgic joy of fond memories with fellow ޴˪d΍ΝΫբ׷˚ઋᕿٙ܊㡼ྡ˪࢝f
residents.
