The Housing Society plans to allow owners of subsidised
housing flats with premium unpaid to sublet their flats to

families in need as transitional housing.

Work on the first phase is due to schedule in 2020, with completion in ୋɓಂʈ೻ਗ਼׵ɚཧɚཧϋਗʈdԨ׵ɚ
2023/2024. Subsequent phases will be developed in the years thereafter ཧɚɧŊɚ̬ϋܓҁʈfᎇܝ΢ಂਗ਼ৣΥ
to suit the Government’s clearance programme. ִ݁͊Ըᅰϋ೯࢝ධͦٙ૶װࠇྌf

Subletting Subsidised Sale Flats 分租資助出售單位
In October 2017, Hong Kong’s Chief Executive announced that the ׵ɚཧɓɖϋɤ˜dБ݁ڗ֜܁бɓධཀ
Government would facilitate the Housing Society in allowing owners of ನ׌ג܊ણ݄d࢙஢ג՘ᒍɨ͊໾ᄆٙ༟
its subsidised sale flats to sublet their flats with premium unpaid to п̈ਯג܊ධุͦ˴ʱॡՉఊЗʚϞცࠅ
families in need as a transitional housing initiative. ࢕ࢬf

We will be launching this initiative as a pilot scheme covering around Ϥࠇྌਗ਼˸༊БҖόપ̈dऒʿɚɤࡈʊ
15,000 subsidised flats with premium unpaid (out of around 19,000 flats ໝϓٙ˜Иσ೯ਯࠇྌ™ʿ˜ѰːචᄴИ܊
in 20 completed projects) under Flat-For-Sale Scheme and the ࠇྌ™ʕߒ 15,000ࡈ͊໾ᄆٙ༟пఊЗ€ତ
Sandwich Class Housing Scheme. The actual number of flats available ࣛߒϞ19,000ࡈΝᗳۨఊЗfϤ༊Бࠇྌ
for subletting under the pilot scheme will depend on the owners’ ྼყ̙ԶʱॡٙఊЗᅰͦਗ਼ൖ˷ุ˴ٙˀ
response. ᏐϾ֛f

We are deliberating on the implementation details of the pilot scheme, Ңࡁତ͍ϽᅇપБ༊᜕ࠇྌٙ༉ઋdಂૐ
and aim at launching the scheme in the third quarter of 2018. ׵ɚཧɓɞϋୋɧ֙પ̈ࠇྌf
