Redeveloping Our Rental Estates 重建出租屋邨

For rental estates where redevelopment has been determined as the ຅ҢࡁӔ֛ໝྼࡈй̈ॡ܊㡼ٙࠠܔࠇྌ
most suitable course of action, the rehousing of existing tenants is an ܝdکึක֐ආБτໄତϞॡ˒fШτໄ
accompanying requirement. This has often proven to be a challenge, ʈЪֻֻѢᗭࠠࠠdˈՉࠅਗ਼ॡ˒ሜቋЇ
particularly when seeking to relocate tenants within close proximity to Չତ֢ڝڐʿᆞ઄ٙᐑྤf
their existing homes and familiar surroundings.

Through ongoing searches and with support from the Transport and ຾ཀܵᚃஜήཀ೻d̋ɪ੻Ց༶፩ʿג܊
Housing Bureau, Lands Department and Planning Department, we have ҅eή݁ᐼ໇ʿ஝ྌ໇ٙ˕ܵdҢࡁʊي
identified a number of potential rehousing sites and completed the ЍՑᅰࡈᆑίτໄήᓃdԨҁϓ޴ᗫҦஔ
technical feasibility studies on them. Nevertheless, we would continue ̙Б׌޼Ӻf್ϾdҢࡁʥცމᔚ̈ॡ܊
to look for other suitable decanting options, while forging ahead with 㡼ٙࠠܔ஝ྌdᘱᚃరҬՉ˼Υቇٙሜቋ
redevelopment plans for our aged estates. ήᓃf

Ming Wah Dai Ha 明華大廈
At our Ming Wah Dai Ha, located in Shau Kei Wan, we have commenced З׵⓳၎ᝄٙ׼ശɽขʱɧಂආБࠠܔd
work on a three-phased redevelopment. For Phase I, site formation and ϞᗫʈЪ͵ʊ࢝කfίୋɓಂࠠܔʈ೻˙
foundation works for the two new buildings are completed and ࠦdՇᄸอɽᅽٙɺή̻዆ʿήਿʈ೻ʊ
superstructure works have commenced. This phase, comprising 966 ҁϓdɪႊʈ೻͵ʊ࢝කdਗ਼ึ౤Զ 966ࡈ
rental units, is due for completion in 2019/20. ̈ॡఊЗdཫࠇ׵ɚཧɓɘŊɚཧϋܓം
