Appreciation for the Contribution of the Elderly
頌揚長者作出的貢獻

To celebrate Senior Citizens Day, the CES Team organised an
interactive exhibition across 20 rental estates to showcase the
inspirational stories of elderly volunteers. The exhibition was held to
appreciate their contributions in building mutual support networks
through assisting neighbours in need, and to foster respect and
care for the elderly. These elderly volunteers were presented as
role models to inspire community service among tenants of all
ages. The event was successful in promoting cohesion among the
neighbourhood and social harmony, with tenants expressing gratitude
and appreciation for the elderly volunteers.

為慶祝長者日，「房協友里」團隊在二十個出租屋邨舉辦「耆義連繫2023互動
展覽」，展示長者義工的勵志故事。是次展覽旨在表揚長者義工透過支援有需
要的鄰里，建立互助網絡，並締造「敬老護老」的風氣。這些長者義工以身作
則，激勵不同年齡層的租戶為社區服務。此活動成功促進鄰里之間的凝聚力
和社會共融，居民們紛紛對長者義工表示感謝和讚賞。
