Promoting Intergenerational Harmony with External Collaborators
與外界機構攜手共倡跨代共融

Since the launch of the intergenerational programme in Jat Min Chuen in 2021, the Housing Society has
extended its efforts during the reporting year by introducing additional intergenerational mutual support
programmes. In addition to the Nordic Walking pathway and the Mölkky (a Finnish throwing game)
playspace built in the estate, we organised programmes, such as the Buddy-matching Scheme, where
youths visited the elderly. The programme collaborated with more than 20 partners to achieve synergy
in promoting intergenerational harmony. Our cross-sector endeavours were recognised and we were
honoured with the Outstanding Collaboration Project Award at the Hong Kong Volunteer Awards 2023.
Building upon the success of our pilot programme, we have extended this initiative to other housing
estates, including Ka Wai Chuen. In collaboration with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and
schools under a project funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, we arranged community
gardening, mural painting and intergenerational paired visits to foster intergenerational harmony among
tenants of different ages.

我們於二零二一年在乙明邨推行跨代計劃，在屋邨建設北歐式健步徑及芬蘭木棋（一種芬蘭投擲遊戲）遊樂空間。
報告年度內，我們進一步延續跨代共融計劃，以及組織跨代互助平台，例如推行「同行伙伴」以配對青少年探訪長
者。此計劃與超過二十個組織合作，共同協作推動跨代和諧。我們在跨界別的工作上獲得認可，並於「香港義工獎
2023」榮獲「傑出協作計劃」。

建基於先導計劃的成效，我們將此計劃拓展至其他屋邨，包括家維邨。我們透過香港賽馬會慈善信託基金資助項
目與香港青年協會，以及學校合作，安排了社區園藝、壁畫創作和跨代探訪活動，以促進不同年齡層租戶的跨代
共融。
