In respect of compliance, internal control and risk management, the ίΥeʫ္છʿࠬᎈ၍ଣ˙ࠦdᄲࣨ
Audit Committee approved the annual internal audit plan and reviewed ։ࡰึҭࣨΌϋʫᄲࣨࠇྌʿᏨীࠇྌ
its implementation status. It also reviewed 10 internal audit reports and ٙપБઋرd͵ᄲቡəɤ΅ʫᄲࣨజѓ
the implementation of the agreed management actions. The Audit ʿהમ՟֛ٙ၍ଣણ݄fϤ̮dᄲࣨ։
Committee also reviewed a number of other reports, including the ࡰึ͵ᄲቡε΅Չ˼జѓdܼ̍Άุࠬᎈ
enterprise risk management framework and the annual risk assessment ၍ଣ࣪ݖʿΌϋࠬᎈ൙П௰อ༟ࣘజѓe
update report, the technical audit report, an ad-hoc report on use of ҦஔᄲࣨజѓeϞᗫ˸ሜ༆˙ό༆Ӕنᙄ
mediation for dispute resolution, and the corruption prevention ٙਖ਼ᕚజѓ˸ʿก݁ʮԣ˟Ϯஈ೯̈
advisory reports from the Corruption Prevention Department of the ٙԣ˟ϮจԈజѓfᄲࣨ։ࡰึӊ̒ϋ
Independent Commission Against Corruption. The Audit Committee Σ္ԫึʹజѓdʫ࢙Ϟᗫீཀʫᇆ
submitted reports on the overall adequacy and effectiveness of the ࣨ̌ঐʿ̮໌ࣨᅰࢪٙʈЪԸᏨীגί
compliance, ethical standards, risk management and internal control Υe༸ᅃᅺeࠬᎈ၍ଣʿʫ္છӻ
systems through the work of the internal and external assurance ୕˙ࠦٙ̂ԑܓʿϓࣖf
providers to the Supervisory Board on a half-yearly basis.
Nominating Committee 提名委員會
The Nominating Committee acts on behalf of the Supervisory Board Τ։ࡰึ˾ڌ္ԫึ္࿀ג։ࡰٙ
and oversees the Housing Society’s membership nomination and Τʿ፯ᑘҏd˸ʿᄲࣨอ։ࡰ̋ɝג
election processes, as well as admission of new members to the ٙҏdߧɢᆽڭג։ࡰՈ௪ѩፅٙʑ
Housing Society. It is dedicated to ensuring that the Housing Society ঐʿਖ਼ุߠ౻f
membership consists of a balanced mix of skills and professional
background.
There were seven members on the Nominating Committee as at 1 April ࿚Їɚཧɓɖϋ̬˜ɓ˚dΤ։ࡰึ
2017, comprising the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the ϞɖΤϓࡰd္ܼ̍ԫึ˴ࢩʿਓ˴ࢩe
Supervisory Board, the Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing ͟༶፩ʿג܊҅੬।ࣣڗג܊̈ٙ
(Housing) serving as an ex officio member, the Chief Executive Officer ್։ࡰeБ݁ᐼࡒੂБᐼԫe္ԫ
and Executive Director, the immediate past Chairman of the Supervisory ึɪ˴ࢩʿ̤̮ՇΤ္ԫึϓࡰfɚ
Board, and two other members of the Supervisory Board. At the AGM ཧɓɖϋɘ˜ʞ˚ᑘБٙմϋ։ࡰɽึɪd
held on 5 September 2017, Dr Tony Leung Ka-tung and Prof Kenneth ಊ௹ɻʿుᗎબҁϓɧϋಂ
Pang Tsan-wing retired from the Nominating Committee after ܝৗΤ։ࡰึf͟ಊ௹ɻίҁ
completing their three-year terms of office. As Dr Tony Leung Ka-tung ϓஹᚃՇ֣މಂɧϋ္ԫึಂܝd
was required to step down from the Supervisory Board after serving ɚཧɓɖϋմϋ։ࡰɽึɪৗ္ԫ
two consecutive three-year terms at the 2017 AGM, he would not be ึd݂ʔΥ༟ࣸΎᐏ։̋ɝΤ։ࡰึf
eligible to stand for re-appointment to the Nominating Committee. At ᎇഹుᗎબʿቸ͛ɚཧɓɖ
the Supervisory Board meeting held immediately after the 2017 AGM, ϋմϋ։ࡰɽึɪϓ̌ᐏࠠ፯މ္ԫึϓ
Prof Kenneth Pang Tsan-wing was re-appointed and Mr Chan Ka-kui ࡰd˼ࡁɚཧɓɖϋմϋ։ࡰɽึܝટ
was appointed to the Nominating Committee for a three-year term of ᚃᑘБ္ٙԫึึᙄɪdʱйᐏ္ԫึΎ
office following their successful re-election to the Supervisory Board at ։ʿ։މΤ։ࡰึϓࡰdಂɧϋf
the 2017 AGM. The Nominating Committee consisted of seven ࿚Їɚཧɓɞϋɧ˜ɧɤɓ˚dΤ։ࡰ
members as at 31 March 2018. ึϞɖΤϓࡰf
