Membership of Housing Society 房協委員
During the financial year, three new members joined the Housing ͉ৌ݁ϋܓϞɧΤอ։ࡰ̋ɝגdʱй
Society, namely, Mr Dick Kwok Ngok-chung, Mr Ling Kar-kan މெ֪׀͛eࡗྗා͛ʿඹ੶͛f
and Mr Conrad Fung Kwok-keung. Dr Fan Cheuk-hung passed away ᅾՙඪ௹ɻɚཧɓɖϋɞ˜ʞ˚ᕎ˰d
and ceased to be a member on 5 August 2017. ΪϾৗג։ࡰf
The Housing Society had 136 members as at 31 March 2018, of whom ࿚Їɚཧɓɞϋɧ˜ɧɤɓ˚dגϞ
60 served on the Supervisory Board, the Executive Committee and the ɓϵɧɤʬΤ։ࡰdՉʕʬɤΤ։ࡰɗ္
various Committees and the Task Force. A full list of Housing Society ԫึeੂБ։ࡰึʿ։ࡰึձਖ਼பʃଡ଼

The membership composition of the Supervisory Board and the ္ԫึʿੂБ։ࡰึٙϓࡰܼ̍ਖ਼ุɛɻe
Executive Committee comprises a balanced mix of professionals, ਠޢБ݁ɛࡰʿٟึਕޢձኪஔޢٙਖ਼
business executives, and experts in community services and academia. f္ԫึʿੂБ։ࡰึϓࡰٙʔΝਖ਼ุ
The diverse background of members ensures that the Two-tier Board ߠ౻dᆽڭᕐᄴ၍طݖՈ௪੭ჯגุ
has the breadth and depth of skills and expertise required to steer the ਕ೯࢝ձഄଫ˙Σהცٙ˙ࠦҦঐʿਖ਼
development and the strategic directions of our businesses. ڗf
Election and Appointment of Board and 監事會成員的選任及委員會成員
Committee Members 的委任
The term of office of members of the Supervisory Board, the Executive ္ԫึeੂБ։ࡰึʿ։ࡰึϓࡰٙ
Committee and the various Committees is normally three years (“year” ಂஷ੬މɧϋίࠇၑಂࣛdɓϋܸՇ

required. The Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board ɛᅰࣛ͵ʔࠇၑίʫf
are not required to retire and will not be taken into account when
determining the number of members to retire during their three-year
terms of office.
