During the year, five Supervisory Board meetings were held with an ϋʫd္ԫึᑘБʞϣึᙄd̈ࢩ
overall attendance rate of 81 per cent. The Supervisory Board reviewed ଟމϵʱʘɞɤɓf္ԫึᄲൖəΆ
the overall corporate strategic plan; the corporate business focuses for ุഄଫࠇྌeɚཧɓɖ / ɓɞϋܓٙΆุุ
2017/18; the consolidated views of the 2017 brainstorming session; and ਕࠠᓃeɚཧɓɖϋණܠึٙၝΥจԈʿ
the half-year reports submitted by the Audit Committee. It also received ᄲࣨ։ࡰึʹٙ̒ϋܓజѓd͵ᚎə
from the Management a full year report for 2016/17; quarterly reports ၍ଣᄴఱɚཧɓʬ / ɓɖϋܓʹٙΌϋజ
on major events and management decisions; and papers on topical ѓeϞᗫࠠࠅԫਕʿ၍ଣӔᙄٙ֙ܓజѓ
issues, such as the implementation of the Rent Assistance Scheme and ձਖ਼ᕚ˖dνॡږ౪пࠇྌʿబ˒
the Well-off Tenants Policy and update on housing projects and new ݁ഄٙྼ݄ઋر˸ʿג܊ධͦʿอࠇྌٙ
initiatives. Based on the recommendations of the Nominating ௰อආ࢝f္ԫึટॶΤ։ࡰึٙપᑥd
Committee, the Supervisory Board approved the admission of three նəɧΤอ։ࡰ̋ɝגf္ԫึ͵։
new members to the Housing Society and appointed members to the əੂБ։ࡰึeᄲࣨ։ࡰึʿΤ։ࡰ
Executive Committee, the Audit Committee and the Nominating ึٙϓࡰf
Committee.
Executive Committee 執行委員會
The Executive Committee approves strategies proposed by the ੂБ։ࡰึࠋபᄲҭ၍ଣᄴᙄٙഄଫe
Management, monitors Management performance and approves ္࿀၍ଣᄴٙڌତʿᄲҭᑚཇ։ࡰึeत
recommendations made by the Remuneration Committee, Special й։ࡰึձਖ਼பʃଡ଼яʹٙܔᙄd˸ʿҭ
Committees and Task Force where appropriate as well as major ࣨ၍ଣᄴᔖᛆ˸̮ٙࠠɽӔ֛fੂБ։ࡰ
decisions beyond the Management thresholds. It also appoints ึ͵ࠋப։ᑚཇ։ࡰึeतй։ࡰึʿ
members to the Remuneration Committee, the Special Committees ਖ਼பʃଡ଼ٙϓࡰf
and the Task Force.
There were 12 members on the Executive Committee as at 1 April 2017, ࿚Їɚཧɓɖϋ̬˜ɓ˚dੂБ։ࡰึ
comprising the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory ϞɤɚΤϓࡰd္ܼ̍ԫึٙ˴ࢩʿਓ˴
Board, the Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Housing) ࢩe͟༶፩ʿג܊҅੬।ࣣڗג܊̈
serving as an ex officio member, the Chief Executive Officer and ್ٙ։ࡰeБ݁ᐼࡒੂБᐼԫʿ
Executive Director, and eight members appointed by the Supervisory ɞΤ္͟ԫึ։ٙϓࡰfɚཧɓɖϋ
Board. At the AGM held on 5 September 2017, four members retired ɘ˜ʞ˚ᑘБٙմϋ։ࡰɽึ˚d̬Τ
from the Executive Committee, namely, Ms Serena Lau Sze-wan, ϓࡰৗੂБ։ࡰึdܼ̍ᄎ་ᗲɾɻe
Mr Timothy Ma Kam-wah, Mr Mike Wong Chik-wing and Dr Kim Mak ৵ᎀശ͛eරಔ͛ʿܔശ௹ɻd
Kin-wah, fulfilling the one-third retirement rule. Ms Serena Lau Sze-wan ୌΥəɧʱʘɓϓࡰৗ֛ٙfᄎ་ᗲ
and Mr Timothy Ma Kam-wah completed their three-year terms of ɾɻʿ৵ᎀശ͛ҁϓɧϋಂdԨ፯
office and opted for re-appointment to the Executive Committee. वੂБ։ࡰึfරಔ͛͵ҁϓɧϋ
Mr Mike Wong Chik-wing also completed his three-year term of office ಂdШʔరӋஹiϾܔശ௹ɻۆ፯
but did not seek re-appointment, while Dr Kim Mak Kin-wah chose to ৗੂБ։ࡰึfɚཧɓɖϋմϋ։ࡰ
step down from the Executive Committee. At the Supervisory Board ɽึܝટᚃᑘБ္ٙԫึึᙄɪdᄎ་ᗲ
meeting held immediately after the 2017 AGM, Ms Serena Lau Sze-wan ɾɻʿ৵ᎀശ͛Ύᐏ։މੂБ։ࡰึ
and Mr Timothy Ma Kam-wah were re-appointed and one other ϓࡰd։ࡰරᎀӒ͛͵ᐏ։̋ɝੂБ
member, namely, Mr Wilfred Wong Kam-pui, was appointed to the ։ࡰึdಂމɧϋfɚཧɓɖϋɤɓ
Executive Committee for a three-year term of office. At the Supervisory ˜ɘ˚ᑘБ္ٙԫึึᙄɪdࡗྗා͛
Board Meeting held on 9 November 2017, Mr Ling Kar-kan was ᐏ։މੂБ։ࡰึϓࡰdಂމɧϋd
appointed as an Executive Committee member for a three-year term of ͟ɚཧɓɞϋɓ˜ɚɤɚ˚ৎЇɚཧɚཧ
office with effect from 22 January 2018 up to the 2020 AGM. The ϋմϋ։ࡰɽึމ˟f࿚Їɚཧɓɞϋɧ
Executive Committee comprised 12 members as at 31 March 2018. ˜ɧɤɓ˚dੂБ։ࡰึϞɤɚΤϓࡰf
