              Home visits and group activities are arranged to
              encourage active ageing among our elderly residents.

            The AIP Scheme was first piloted in 2012 at Cho Yiu Chuen and now   ˜ᆀ੻ॾה™ࠇྌ׵ɚཧɓɚϋଟ΋ίख़గ
            extends across all 20 Housing Society rental estates. It is effectively a   㡼༊Бdତʊᓒ࢝Їג՘ᒍɨΌ௅ɚɤࡈ
            platform for the Housing Society to partner with government   ̈ॡ܊㡼dԨʊϓމג՘ྫשִ݁௅ژe
            departments, welfare organisations, healthcare service providers and   ٟ၅ዚ࿴eᔼᐕ؂ਕʿኪஔዚ࿴̨̻ٙd
            academics, lining up social capital within the community and making it   Ϟࣖήਗ਼ٟਜ༟๕ஹᖩৎԸd؂ਕ֢͏f
            available to tenants.

            Through these partnerships we are able to provide a wide range of   ίவ၇ၡ੗ٙΥЪᗫڷɨdҢࡁ੻˸މڗ
            support services to elderly tenants, within their own existing   ٫ॡ˒ίՉਜʫ౤Զ଄ႊ˜࢕eੰe਄e
            communities, across five domains, namely Home Safety, Healthiness,   ᆀe౽™ʞࡈᇍᖚٙᄿع˕౪؂ਕf
            Autonomy, Happiness and Abled Brain.

            With 280 collaborating organisations in Hong Kong, the AIP Scheme   ீཀၾɚϵɞɤගዚ࿴ΥЪd˜ᆀ੻ॾה™
            has served over 28,500 elderly tenants to date. The Housing Society   ࠇྌԙʦʊ؂ਕགྷ28,500Τڗ٫֢͏fג՘
            complements its partners’ services by supporting the provision of   ீཀ౤Զቇʲٙ࢕֢ᐑྤdၾΥЪྫМ޴
            adequate home environments for ageing residents. In 2017/18, we   Ⴞ޴ϓdΌɢ؂ਕਜʫڗ٫֢͏f׵ɚཧ

            To gauge the effectiveness of the AIP Scheme, a four-year Longitudinal   މ൙Ϙᆀ੻ॾה™ࠇྌٙϓࣖdҢࡁ׵ɚ
            Study was commissioned in 2014. This study, conducted by the Sau Po   ཧɓ̬ϋ։ৄ࠰ಥɽኪӸࡹϼϋ޼Ӻʕː
            Centre on Ageing of The University of Hong Kong, was completed in   ආБމಂ̬ϋٙ৛ᔳ޼ӺfϞᗫ޼Ӻʊ׵
            this period under review with over 1,300 respondents in 2017. The   ɚཧɓɖϋϤజѓಂʫҁϓd޼Ӻ࿁൥΍
            results were very encouraging, citing reduced intention for institutional   ൴ཀ 1,300 ɛf޼Ӻഐ؈˿ɛོႀdᜑͪί
            care, reduced use of accident and emergency services, a lowered rate   ࠇྌપБܝdϞจ͡ሗ৫ٸ๫ᚥeԴ͜ܢ
            of falls, an increase in social participation, as well as improvements in   स؂ਕʿൻࡀٙɛᅰѩϞಯˇdމڗ٫ॡ
