required to declare domestic property ownership after five years and ί͉ಥኹϞИσيุdԨИတɤϋܝ
their family income and assets after residing in the estate for ten years ආБࢬɝࢹʿ༟ପ͡జdՉܝӊՇϋΎ
and on a biennial basis afterward. Tenants who own domestic property, Ъ͡జf߰И˒ί͉ಥኹϞИσيุeא

In tandem with our long-term estate redevelopment programme, we ίપБڗჃ܊㡼ࠠܔࠇྌٙΝࣛdҢࡁܵ
continued to carry out inspection and repair works to prolong the life ᚃމ༰ᔚٙ̈ॡ܊㡼ආБᏨ᜕ʿၪࡌʈЪd
of our oldest rental estates. This major improvement works are done in ˸ַڗՉ̙Դ͜ϋಂf˴ࠅҷഛʈᛅʱ
a ten-year cycle, at the rate of ten to fifteen buildings per year. މɤϋಂආБdӊϋᔧႊɤЇɤʞࢭᅽ
Improvements in 2017/18 included considerations for safety and ρfɚཧɓɖŊɓɞϋܓٙҷഛʈܼ̍
accessibility, such as the replacement of a total of 15 lifts in five rental ʺண݄ٙτΌʿஷ༺ܓdνІɚཧɓɖ
blocks of Ka Wai Chuen starting May 2017 and expected to complete in ϋʞ˜කމၪ㡼ʞࢭᅽρΥһ౬
2019. The total commitment for major improvement works in 2017/18 ɤʞ̨ʺࠥዚdࡈʈཫࠇਗ਼ɚཧɓɘ
