                 The Housing Society carries out face-lift renovations
                 at a number of shopping centres.

               Our commercial tenants consist primarily of local neighbourhood shops   ג՘ٙਠุॡ˒˴ࠅܼ͉̍ήਠ⧕ʿ؂ਕ
               and services, as well as NGOs and community organisations — the   ԶᏐਠeڢִ݁ଡ଼ᔌʿٟਜዚ࿴fҢࡁึ
               latter paying concessionary rents and representing around 13% of our   Σڢִ݁ଡ଼ᔌʿٟਜዚ࿴౤ԶॡږᎴ౉d

               The occupancy rate of our retail portfolio remains high, averaging   ϋʫdҢࡁᒍɨཧਯਠ͜يุٙ̈ॡଟܵ
               97.7% during the review period. The current total area of our   ᚃ৷Άd̻ѩ༺ϵʱʘɘɤɖᓃɖfତࣛ

               commercial premises is around 130,000m . In addition, there are a total   ਠ͜يุٙᐼࠦጐߒމ130,000̻˙ϷfϤ
               number of some 9,300 car-parking spaces in our commercial portfolio   ̮d׵ɚཧɓɖŊɓɞϋܓʫٙغԓЗᐼ
               in 2017/18. Overall, we achieved a commercial income of about   ᅰމ 9,300 εࡈf዆᜗ϾԊdҢࡁٙਠ͜ي
               HK$840M, implying an increase of 7.8% from 2016/17.         ุϗɝߒމɞᄂ̬ɷຬಥʩd ༰ɚཧ

               The Housing Society has been consistently renovating its shopping   ג՘֛ಂމᒍɨਠఙආБᔕอd˸ҷഛਠ
               centres, aiming to improve the business environment for the shop   ˒ٙᐄਠᐑྤdΝࣛ౤ʺᚥ܄ٙᒅي᜗᜕d
               tenants while enhancing the shopping experience for customers and   တԑ֢͏ٙ˚੬ცӋfϋʫd࢕ၪਠఙʿ
               catering to the daily needs of local residents. During the year, both Ka   ઼ᅃᒅيਠఙ€ۃ၈઼ᅃڀ෤ᒅيਠఙ׵
               Wai Plaza and Kai Tak Shopping Arcade (previously known as Kai Tak   ɚཧɓɖϋɤɚ˜ҁϓᔕอdમ͜ତ˾ʷ
               Garden Shopping Arcade) completed renovation in December 2017,   ٙணࠇdމᒅي٫౤ԶһτΌʿബቇٙᐑ
               with a modernised design, a safer and more comfortable environment   ྤfਠ˒ଡ଼Υɰ൳ᒈεᅵʷdމ܊㡼ʿ຅
               for shoppers. The business mix was also diversified to offer greater   ਜ֢͏౤Զһε፯኿f
               choices for the residents in the estate and local community.

               We conducted a survey in late-2017 of our commercial tenants   Ңࡁ׵ɚཧɓɖϋϋֵΣᒍɨਠ˒ආБي
               regarding management matters and a satisfaction rate of 85% was   ุ၍ଣ˙ࠦٙਪ՜ሜݟdတจଟ༺ϵʱʘ
