The highlight of the campaign was a cocktail reception held at the ɖɤմϋٙࠠᓃႦᅅݺਗމ̬˜ɤɖ˚৿
Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 17 April 2018. The ࠰ಥึᙄ࢝ᚎʕːᑘБٙᅅज़ৢึd͟࠰
Honourable Mrs Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special ಥतйБ݁ਜБ݁ڗ֜؍ቍ˜ࢎዄ΂˴ᓿ
Administrative Region, was the Guest of Honour, and we were joined ྗႷfᐏᒗ̈ࢩৢึٙྗႷ൴ཀʬϵΤd
by over 600 guests including Members of the Executive and Legislative ܼ̍Б݁ึᙄϓࡰeͭجึᙄࡰeਜᙄࡰe
Councils, District Councillors, academia, industry peers and residents’ ኪ٫eุޢʿ֢͏˾ڌഃג՘ٙ˴ࠅܵ΅
representatives, representing the major stakeholders of the Housing ٫f
Society.

Recognising the importance of community engagement, one major ג՘ଉ׼ٟਜਞၾٙࠠࠅ׌d݂Ϥίܵᚃ
objective of the year-round celebration programme was to encourage ɓϋٙᅅज़ݺਗʕdג՘ٙՉʕɓࡈࠠᓃ
broader participation among our residents. To serve this objective, we ͦᅺމོᎸһε֢͏ਞၾݺਗfఱϤdҢ
invited well-known artist and illustrator Prudence Mak to design a series ࡁᑘ፬˜Ҟᆀٟਜ™܊㡼ᖵஔኣ೥ࠇྌdᒗ
of mural paintings for our 20 rental estates through the “Art in Estates” ሗ͉ήɛंᖵஔ࢕ࡒౢ೥ࢪ௥ඩ၌މג՘
Mural Painting Programme. Hundreds of estate residents were joined ᒍɨɚɤࡈ̈ॡ܊㡼ணࠇɓӻΐኣ೥fݺ
by our staff volunteers to paint murals in the public open spaces of the ਗᐏ੻ཀϵΤג՘܊㡼֢͏ʿ່ʈΝԫਞ
rental estates, promoting a sense of community through the experience ၾdɓΝމ̈ॡ܊㡼ٙʮ΍٤ගᄣ૴Ѝ੹d
of art creation. The paintings were featured in an Art Map for ᔟᖵஔ௴Ъ೯౨ٟਜኑၳɢfג՘ʊਗ਼ה
distribution to the general public, and developed into a mobile app for Ϟኣ೥̊Ι׵˜Ҟᆀٟਜ™܊㡼ᖵஔήྡd
browsing online and sharing fun photos on social media. ݼ೯ʚɽ଺f̹͏͵̙ீཀਖ਼ٙ͜Ꮠ͜೻

The celebratory activities also included a series of estate-based photo Չ˼ᅅज़ݺਗ͵ܼ̍˜܊㡼ྡ˪࢝™dίג
exhibitions showcasing our residents’ images taken over the years, and ՘ᒍɨεࡈ܊㡼࢝ͪɓӻΐ֢͟͏౤Զٙ
a shopping promotion campaign which gave away a set of cash ׷˚ᔚ๫f̤̮dג՘͵ᑘ፬˜ຬ࢕ΝԮ 70
coupons valued at HK$70 to each of our residential tenants and staff ሧ™ᒅيપᄿݺਗdΣ΢ג՘Иσॡ˒ʿࡰ
