               Expense Analysis                                            支出分析

               Total expenses were HK$1,572million, HK$3,317million lower than the   ᐼ˕̈މɤʞᄂɖɷɚϵຬಥʩd༰̘ϋ
               previous year, mainly due to lower property development costs which   ಯˇɧɤɧᄂɓɷɖϵຬಥʩd˴ࠅࡡΪ
               were revenue-driven. Staff costs and property leasing and management   މيุ೯࢝ϓ͉աϗू੭ਗϾɨൻfࡰʈ
               expenses increased by 4% and 6% respectively, primarily due to general   ϓ͉eيุॡ༣ʿ၍ଣ˕̈ʱйᄣ̋ϵʱ
               inflation and higher spending to maintain our ageing estates.  ʘ̬ʿϵʱʘʬd˴ࠅաஷദʿڭቮᔚ㡼

               Property Developments for Sale                              發展出售物業

               Property developments for sale are one of the Housing Society’s core   ೯࢝̈ਯيุމג՘Չʕɓධࣨːุਕձ
               businesses and income contributors. Over the years, the Housing   ϗɝԸ๕fεϋԸdג՘ɓٜ˕౪ִ݁೯
               Society has supported the Government in developing various housing   ࢝ʔΝٙג܊ࠇྌd՘п࠰ಥ̹͏ྼତໄ
               schemes to assist people in Hong Kong to fulfil their aspirations of   ุᗴૐfତࣛdҢࡁٙٙʈЪࠠᓃ݊ீཀ
               home ownership. Currently, our focus is to assist the Government to   ౤Զ༟п̈ਯג܊d՘пִ݁༆Ӕ̙ࠋዄ
               resolve the shortage of affordable housing through the provision of   ג܊ԶᏐʔԑٙਪᕚdܼ̍༟п̈ਯג܊
               Subsidised Sale Flats (SSF), either in standalone SSF projects, or in   ධͦeίਖ਼͜τໄ܊㡼e˸ʿίࠠܔܝٙ
               Dedicated Rehousing Estates and our future redeveloped rental estates.  ̈ॡ܊㡼f
