Strategic Planning 策略規劃
The Housing Society adopts a rigorous and continuous strategic גમॶɓࢁᄲฐմΌʿ࿏ɓߧٙഄଫ
planning process. A brainstorming session on the strategic business ྌҏfגӊϋѩᑘБණܠึীሞഄ
focuses and long-term development is held each calendar year. In ଫุਕࠠᓃʿڗჃ೯࢝fৰ္ԫึʿੂБ
addition to members of the Supervisory Board and the Executive ։ࡰึ։ࡰ̮dՉ˼ג։ࡰѩᐏᒗ̈ࢩ
Committee, all other members are invited to join the brainstorming ණܠึdఱגධഄଫ˙ࣩʱԮซجd
session to share their thoughts on various strategic initiatives and Ԩ࿁גٙԉЍeᎴԫධʿڗჃ೯࢝ڌ
express their views on the Housing Society’s roles, priorities and long- ༺จԈfגίՓࠈΆุุਕࠇྌࣛึਞ
term development. Members’ views are taken into consideration in the Ͻ։ࡰٙจԈf͉ϋܓٙණܠึɚཧɓɖ
formulation of the corporate business plan. The brainstorming session ϋɤɚ˜ʬ˚ᑘБdϞʞɤʞΤ։ࡰʿ
for the year was held on 6 December 2017, and was attended by 55 ৷ॴ၍ଣɛࡰ̈ࢩf
members and senior management staff.
Information and Support 資訊及支援
The Management submits an annual corporate business plan to the ၍ଣᄴʹϋܓุਕࠇྌʚੂБ։ࡰึҭ
Executive Committee for its approval. Progress is monitored and ࣨfʈЪආܓܲΆุڌତܸᅺЪ္࿀ʿ൙
evaluated through key performance indicators. The Supervisory Board Пf၍ଣᄴ͵ึΣ္ԫึʿੂБ։ࡰึʱ
and the Executive Committee also receive quarterly reports and йʹ֙ܓʿӊ˜జѓdිజגٙৌਕ
monthly reports from the Management respectively on the financial ڌତeࠠᓃԫਕʿ၍ଣӔഄf၍ଣᄴᛆࠢ
performance and the key events and management decisions. Major ˸̮ٙࠠɽӔ֛ۆʹੂБ։ࡰึᄲҭf
decisions beyond the agreed Management thresholds are submitted to
the Executive Committee for approval.
A schedule for Board and Committee meetings is prepared for each גӊϋேึᇜႡ္ԫึձ։ࡰึٙึ
calendar year. Standing agenda items are set to ensure that matters ᙄࣛගڌfึᙄணϞ੬ᙄԫධͦdᆽڭ
relating to corporate strategy, corporate performance management, ္ԫึձ։ࡰึϋʫቇࣛীሞΆุഄ
finance, risk management and internal control, admission of members ଫeΆุڌତ၍ଣeৌਕeࠬᎈ၍ଣၾʫ
and Board and Committee membership composition are discussed ္છe։ࡰն˸ʿ္ԫึၾ։ࡰึٙ
during the meetings at appropriate intervals during the year. ଡ଼ϓഃԫ֝f
To help our members keep abreast of current trends and issues facing މп։ࡰᐝ༆גۃהࠦ࿁ٙҖැձ
the Housing Society, various business activities, such as study tour on ਪᕚdגτરə၇ุਕݺਗᜫ։ࡰһ
elderly housing models and care practices, visits to the mock-up elderly อՉᄵБᔖபהცٙٝᗆfגϋʫᑘ
unit at “Smart Living@Science Park — Ageing in Place” exhibition at ፬ٙݺਗܼ̍jϞᗫڗ٫ג܊ʿᚐϼਕ
Hong Kong Science and Technology Park and the “Mind-Friendly Home ٙϽ࿀ྠeਞᝈண࠰ಥ߅ኪٙ౽ᅆ͛
Exploration Centre” at Prosperous Garden, were arranged during the ݺ@ ߅ኪ — ֢τϼ᜕࢝ᚎʿЗ
year to update and refresh their knowledge necessary for the ᒺ೯ڀٙ౽ʾഛ֢ઞٝdഃഃf
performance of their duties and obligations. In addition, our corporate Ϥ̮dג͵֛ಂீཀΆุஷৃגਗ࿒
newsletter, “Housing Society Today”, is issued to members periodically ᜫ։ࡰə༆גุਕ೯࢝ٙ௰อਗΣf
to keep them updated on the business development of the Housing
Society.
